Albert Garcia-Mondéjar (isardSAT) and Frédéric Nouguier (Ifremer) presented the SARWAVE project at the EC-ESA Joint Earth System Science Initiative workshop (ESSI), that took place at ESRIN, Frascati (Italy) from the 22nd to the 24th of November. The presentation included first results on waves from SAR altimetry spectra and an overview and preliminary results of the Sentinel-1 IWS TOPS SAR processor, experimental L2 dataset and validation activity.

The ESSI workshop gathered scientists, research institutions, policymakers, innovators, industry, ESA activities and Horizon Europe projects to coordinate efforts and explore opportunities to boost scientific development towards a green and sustainable future.
